What months of the year can I lay turf?

Generally one can lay turf all year round. However, it is best to avoid adverse weather conditions such as when the ground is frozen or when soils are waterlogged or temperatures are above 30 degrees centigrade

What is the lead time required when ordering turf?

Ideally it is preferable to give us 48 hours notice, especially if you require large quantities. A longer lead time is required when ordering Wildflower Turf and Sedum Matting. Give us a call to check availability

How do I prepare an area for turf?

Ensure your area is free of weeds and any stones larger than 10mm in diameter. Soil should be level with surrounding areas and firmed using your feet or a roller if the area is larger. Rake to final levels to create a tilth for the new turf to root to.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we will deliver up to a 30 miles radius, which includes the whole of Gloucestershire
